While the Milwaukee Bucks have consistently won at the Fiserv Forum, the same could not be said of their performances on the road. As they embark on a three-game road trip in Indiana on Wednesday, all eyes are on the team to see if they can build their momentum and secure victories away from home.

Starts in Indianapolis

The Bucks are coming off a four-game road trip during the holiday season, where they won three of four games. Ace point guard Damian Lillard said they learned more about themselves then.

“Our team is growing,” Lillard said.

“I think as time goes by, we get more and more familiar with each other. We experienced some turbulence earlier in the season, so now we’re kind of getting our feet in the ground a little bit. We’re establishing ourselves, finding an identity, and I think it shows in these types of situations.”

On Wednesday, they’ll face off against a team they’ve had history with this season—the Pacers. After winning earlier this week, 122-113, Indiana clearly has momentum on its side.

Bounce back

Middleton knows how tough it is to win on the road, no matter which team is on the other side of the floor. After a challenging defeat in a game where they held a commanding 15-point lead, Khris expressed that a victory against the Pacers would bode well for this upcoming road trip.

“We have to bounce back from this game, we’ll see Indy again, which will be a tough matchup. It starts with that. Then we have San Antonio and Houston, one team that hasn’t been too great and one team that’s trying to find themselves also,” Middleton said.

"We’ve got to play well on the road if we want to do what we want to do.”
