GAMEDAY PREVIEW AND INJURY REPORT: The Milwaukee Bucks look to sweep the regular-season series with the Detroit Pistons

Milwaukee and Detroit clash for the second time in three days, with the Bucks looking to sweep their regular-season series with the Pistons on Monday night.

The two squads just played each other on Saturday night, with the Bucks pulling off a 141-135 victory. With the win, Milwaukee improved to 3-0 against Detroit this season, and another win on Monday night will allow them to sweep their four-game regular-season series.

Milwaukee’s big guns deliver

Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo keyed Milwaukee’s third-straight win over Detroit after they combined for 76 points.

Lillard had his highest-scoring game this season by firing 45 points. He also dished off 11 assists in the win, making him the first player in Bucks history with at least 40 points, 10 assists, and five three-pointers in a game. Giannis finished with 31 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists, two steals, and a block in what was a productive return after a one-game absence.

Giannis was sidelined with a shoulder injury when the Bucks were badly beaten by the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night, 95-135.

The Bucks are currently second in the Eastern Conference with a 29-13 record. After Monday night’s duel with Detroit, Milwaukee will return home for a three-game homestand.

Two of those three home games will be against the Cavaliers.

Detroit owns the season’s worst record with 38 losses with only four wins. Their woeful run this season included a record-tying 28-game losing streak.

The Pistons have lost their last five home games and are just 2-19 at home this season. The Bucks are 10-9 in away games this season.

Injury report

Antetokounmpo is listed as probable for the Bucks due to a right shoulder contusion.

Isaiah Stewart (ankle) is listed as questionable, while Monte Morris (quadriceps) and Cade Cunningham (knee) are listed as probable for the Pistons.
