“He’s competitive, smart, so we’re excited to add him to our group,” - Mike Budenholzer reacts to the Milwaukee Bucks acquiring Goran Dragic

Coach Bud approves
Dragic played for 51 games with the Bulls this season and was good for 6.4 points, 2.7 assists, and 1.4 rebounds per outing. He averaged 15.4 minutes per game with the Bulls.
Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer said Dragic could bring so much to the table when he takes turns with Jrue Holiday and Jevon Carter quarterbacking the team.
“He’s a great point guard, can score and set the table,” Budenholzer said Saturday night after Milwaukee’s 133-130 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Playoff experience
Milwaukee is undoubtedly getting a quality backup point guard, as the 6-foot-3 guard was an All-Star with the Miami Heat in 2018 and a third-team All-NBA selection with the Phoenix Suns in 2014.
“He’s competitive, smart, so we’re excited to add him to our group,” Budenholzer added.
Owner of 60 playoff games, the Slovenian player has career averages of 13.3 points, 4.7 assists, and 3 rebounds in 939 regular-season games with 530 starts.
Over the last month, Dragic is the third player that Milwaukee has added from the Miami Heat team that defeated the top-seeded Bucks in the 2020 Eastern Conference semifinals.
Jae Crowder was the first to join the Bucks via a multiple-team deal. Center Meyers Leonard came next after he was signed to a 10-day contract. Also, Meyers Leonard is on his second consecutive 10-day contract.
