Team Giannis ends Team LeBron's five-year run

In this story:
The third time was apparently the charm for Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Team Giannis, as they managed to end Team LeBron's five-year winning streak at the NBA All-Star Game with a 184-175 victory on Sunday night at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Giannis barely played
The Greek Freak, though, barely saw any action in the game. Suffering from a sprained wrist that he incurred in their last game against the Chicago Bulls, Giannis still started and scored two points off a two-handed slam. He swiftly committed a foul to sub himself out and spent the rest of the game on the sidelines, cheering his team on.
The star of the night, though, was Boston Celtics wingman Jayson Tatum, who scored an All-Star Game record of 55 points, highlighted by 10 three-pointers. He broke the previous record held by Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis, who scored 52 points in the 2017 All-Star Game.

Another guard who popped off at the All-Star Game was Cleveland Cavalier Donovan Mitchell, who had 40 points on eight triples to go with 10 assists, four rebounds, and three steals.

First win as All-Star captain
The victory was Giannis' first as an All-Star captain after losing his previous two stints. Both times, he lost to Team LeBron, captained, of course, by the Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

The victory was made sweeter because Giannis got to share the feat with his Bucks teammate Jrue Holiday. The veteran guard, though, played the second-least amount of minutes in the game, as he suited up for just nine minutes, scoring three points and issuing two assists.
