Pistons vs. Bulls Prediction for Sunday, 11/12

The Detroit Pistons head to Chicago to take on the Bulls for a Sunday night matchup. Each team has been very underwhelming to begin the season, as the Pistons have a 2-8 record and the Bulls have a 3-6 record. This was expected from the Pistons who are in full rebuild mode, and while the Bulls aren’t expected to be league leaders, they expect to be much better than this.

This slow start is a major reason why we believe they should dominate this game. It is only early in the season, but if they keep going at the rate they are, they will be far outside the playoff hunt. DeMar DeRozan and Zach Lavine have been leading the way, with great contributions from other starters such as Nikola Vucevic and Lonzo Ball. They have a very well-rounded team, but the problem is, their lack of top-level talent has them falling short in games.

However, a team like Detroit is the perfect opponent to put a full effort in and finally be rewarded for it. It could also be a good opportunity for the Bulls to tune up an underperforming offense, even against a decent Pistons defense.

The home court advantage should also play a bit of a role. While home comfort is always beneficial, it is even more so due to the fact the Bulls will be playing in their third straight home game and fourth of this young month.

Expect Chicago to attack early and often, ensuring they get back on the winning track and begin their push to a record above .500. Expect them to win by eight points or more, covering the 7.5-point spread.
