Pacers announce signing of point guard McConnell

The Indiana Pacers have officially signed point guard T.J. McConnell, the team announced in a news release.
According to Adrian Wojanrowski of ESPN, McConnell's deal is for two years and $7 million.
McConnell, 27, spent his first four seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers.
He will join a backcourt that will now include Malcolm Brogdon (Milwaukee Bucks) and Jeremy Lamb(Charlotte Hornets), as well as holdover Victor Oladipo, an All-Star who may not return until January after suffering a torn ACL this past season.
The Pacers lost point guards Cory Joseph (Sacramento Kings) and Darren Collison (retirement), but also return second-year man Aaron Holiday.
McConnell averaged 6.4 points and 3.4 assists in 76 games as a reserve last season with the 76ers. He has never played less than 76 games in his four-year career, and twice played 81.
