We've now entered the point of the series where there's just as much talk going on inside the lines as there is off the court. Nothing made that clear more than listening to what Mitchell Robinson said after the New York Knicks dismantled the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3.

One of the early talking points leading up to this series and after Game 1 was the battle in the paint for rebounds and second-chance points. The Knicks won this competition in each of their four regular-season meetings which continued early in the series.

The Cavs bounced back in Game 2 to outrebound the Knicks 43-36 in a dismantling of their own. 

The series then turned to a hostile New York crowd that enjoyed giving Cleveland a hard time. Mitchell Robinson believed that the crowd played a major role in New York's victory and Game 3 and  

Mitchell, who was outrebounded and outscored by Evan Mobley in Game 3, agreed that the Cavaliers were rattled in the paint and by the New York crowd. The Knicks center, who had two points and was outrebounded and outscored by Jarrett Allen in Game 2, also made a shivering motion mocking Cleveland's big men. 

The Cavs do need to play better in Game 3 or else they'll be coming back to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse down three games to one, which is virtually impossible to come back from.

Mitchell should be careful with what he says though because something like this is exactly what Cleveland needs in order to rally around one another and bounce back in a big way on Sunday.
