After all, no less than LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, respectively, are the top two vote-getters in the first count of All-Star Game fan ballots, released by the NBA on Thursday.
James leads all players and Irving leads all guards.

Meanwhile, Cavaliers forward Kevin Love is sixth among all Eastern Conference players and third among Eastern Conference forwards. He appears to be a shoe-in for his first East All-Star bid.
The fans, coaches and players are all voting to determine who starts in the All-Star Game, scheduled for Feb. 19 in New Orleans. Starters will be announced Jan. 17.
