The Maine Celtics are one win away from capturing the NBA G-League championship. This season, Neemias Queta is averaging 14.4 points and 8.8 rebounds for Boston’s affiliate team.

As captured by NBC Sports Boston, Queta discussed the importance of winning the G-League championship.

“It would be really cool,” said Queta. “All the guys put in the work during the whole year for one goal and one goal only, and that was to win this championship, and we’re just one win away at this point.”

The Portugal native expressed that they are heading into their series-deciding match against the Oklahoma City Blue with no added pressure.

“So, we’re pretty confident about it, and we’re just going to go about it like any other day and just try to bring home a win our way.”

Game 3 of the G-League Finals is scheduled for Monday, Apr. 15, at Portland Expo Building; tip-off is at 9:00 p.m. EST.
