On Wednesday, the Boston Celtics picked up a 119-116 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Jaylen Brown registered a team-high 26 points and a game-high eight assists in 35 minutes.

Per Inside The Celtics, Joe Mazzulla was impressed by Brown’s performance against the Bucks.

“Jaylen [Brown] was phenomenal on both ends of the court. His defensive effort and, offensively, just making the right plays… whether it was layups or lobs.”

Mazzulla also praised Brown for setting the tone with his playmaking.

“I thought we could still be a little better at executing at the end of the game. I thought the couple of fast passes that we had and the extra shots that we got, and the open threes were because of the guys willing to be great playmakers. He set the tone in that tonight.”

One highlight was Brown’s in-transition alley-oop to Sam Hauser. With 48 seconds left in the third quarter, the duo increased Boston’s lead to 15 points.

The Celtics’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 24, against the Orlando Magic at Amway Center; tip-off is at 2:30 p.m. EST.
