Rising Star Picks Jaylen Brown to Win Slam Dunk Contest

Jaylen Brown is the Slam Dunk Contest's first All-Star competitor since 2017.

Jaylen Brown is set to compete in the 2024 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. The other competitors include Mac McClung, Jamie Jaquez Jr., and Jacob Toppin.

As captured by Celtics on CLNS, Jabari Smith Jr., who participated in the Rising Star game, believes Brown will emerge as the winner.

"I think he's gonna win it honestly. I feel like he's always been that athletic ... But I feel like people overlook it just because he's so good ... I think he got some tricks."

Brown is the first All-Star to compete in the contest since 2018. He will also be the fifth player to represent the Boston Celtics.

This season, Brown is averaging 22 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. Throughout his career, the Georgia native has earned three All-Star selections.

NBA All-Star Saturday Night commences on February 17 at 8:00 EST.
