AS Monaco Basket is coming off a campaign where they beat Metropolitans 92, who Victor Wembanyama starred for, to win the LNB Pro A title. The club also reached the EuroLeague's Final Four.

Now, they're adding former All-NBA guard Kemba Walker to their backcourt. The former top-ten pick spent 12 years in the Association, where he earned four All-Star selections, including in 2019-20, his first season with the Celtics.

In his two seasons in Boston, the former UConn star averaged 19.9 points, 4.8 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and a steal per contest.

On Run Your Race with Theo Pinson and AJ Richardson on the multi-media network Tidal League, Grant Williams told the hosts Walker, who invited the former Tennessee Volunteer to stay with him during the pandemic, is "one of the best teammates I've ever had."

After 37 games with his hometown Knicks in 2021-22, Walker played nine games with the Mavericks last season, producing eight points in 16 minutes per appearance.
