Boston Celtics rookie Jordan Walsh notched his first NBA basket in the fourth quarter of Boston's blowout win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.

Walsh was the beneficiary of a fast break opportunity for the Celtics. With a full head of steam, the 19-year-old dunked the ball with two hands after receiving a pass from Oshae Brissett.

The rookie spoke to reporters following the win with his hands wrapped around the game ball and revealed what was going through his mind when he scored his first two NBA points, conveying he "saw a lane to the rim" and knew "this is the time."

Walsh has appeared in just three games with the Celtics so far during the 2023-24 regular season and is averaging 0.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.

He was selected with the No. 38 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft after playing one season of college basketball at the University of Arkansas.
