BREAKING: NBA Announces Massive Fine for LA Clippers Player

In this story:
The NBA announced on Thursday afternoon that LA Clippers veteran P.J. Tucker had been fined $75,000 for his public comments about wanting to be traded. In their official announcement, the NBA stated the following:
"The NBA announced today that LA Clippers forward P.J. Tucker has been fined $75,000 by the NBA for public comments reported during the week of February 5 expressing a desire to be traded to another team."
Tucker made it very clear in recent weeks that he wanted to be traded. Speaking with several different media outlets, Tucker expressed frustration with his role, and shared his desire to be sent elsewhere.
No longer in LA's rotation, Tucker would like to be somewhere that has a role for him, but he was not moved at the deadline. This ultimately led to Tucker being sent home prior to LA's game against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, with head coach Ty Lue saying the veteran forward (and young guard Bones Hyland) needed a reset.
"The trade didn't happen, they're gonna be here, so we're just giving them a little time off to get their minds right and come back in Oklahoma City and be ready to go," Lue said on Wednesday morning of Tucker and Hyland.
Not only was Tucker not dealt, but he was fined $75,000 as well.
