The LA Clippers finally have a win with Russell Westbrook, defeating the shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night behind a roaring fourth quarter comeback. The Clippers put themselves in a major hole by allowing a 51-point third quarter to a Memphis team that was without Ja Morant; however, the defensive breakdown in that third frame set up a historical outcome for LA.

With their win on Sunday, the Clippers became the first team in the last 32 seasons to win a game where they also surrendered a 50-point quarter to their opponent. The last team to accomplish the feat was the 1991 Cleveland Cavaliers, who defeated the Milwaukee Bucks despite surrendering a 53-point fourth quarter.

The Clippers also became just the 9th team in league history to win a game in which they allowed a 50-point quarter, and they did it behind a dominant final frame. What was looking like a disastrous loss quickly turned into a character win.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were great, combining for 76 points, and Russell Westbrook also contributed 9 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and a steal in 34 minutes. Westbrook was also a +9, as he was on the floor for much of LA's comeback effort.

While this is not the greatest historical list to be on for the Clippers, they will take any path to a victory at this point.
