Former Clippers Player Reacts to James Harden's Trade Request

In this story:
Former LA Clippers guard Baron Davis recently spoke with TMZ, and was asked about the possibility of James Harden being traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Clippers:
"I think that would be dope," Davis said. "The Clippers need another playmaker, somebody who can get fouled, slow the game down. They already got Paul George, Kawhi [Leonard]... [Russell Westbrook] is back, so having James is just another dimension and another level to how they can be a bonafide contender… He's went from back-to-back MVP - or candidate for MVP, to an All-Star, and then being a lead guard. And I think last year he had one of his best years as a point guard, showing people that he can just play point guard if you want him to. James is one of the most versatile offensive weapons that we've seen in a long time, and I think that he could fit in anywhere, especially the Clippers."
It was a detailed answer from Davis, who spoke about the ways Harden has evolved his game over the years, going from a perennial MVP candidate to someone who doesn't mind letting his scoring tale a back seat in order to facilitate for his teammates. This is one of the reasons Harden does project to be a good fit with with the Clippers, because with high-level scorers in Leonard and George, Harden would have the opportunity to help Westbrook set those two up.
