While this is sometimes the case, it's more often that fans are overanalyzing Tweets primarily unrelated to basketball. With James Harden still requesting a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers to the LA Clippers, fans were especially intrigued with Embiid's cryptic message. The reigning league MVP followed that Tweet up with another that didn't provide much clarity:

As previously mentioned, it's very likely that Embiid's Tweet has nothing to do with Harden, or even the NBA in general. That said, fans are still speculating that he could know something about potential movement on a deal.

Up until this point, not much seems to have changed in the Harden trade saga. The 76ers star still wants a trade to the Clippers, but his current team remains uninterested in what LA is offering. This leaves negotiations at a standstill while both teams weigh the risks of letting this drag into training camp.

As things stand currently, both sides would theoretically benefit from getting a deal done before camp opens. For the Clippers, they would like to have their complete roster together for camp. For Philadelphia, they would like to avoid the risks of bringing a disgruntled Harden into the mix.
