Steph Curry's Honest Statement on James Harden After Clippers vs. Warriors

The Golden State Warriors fell to the LA Clippers on Wednesday night after leading for most of the game. Warriors star Steph Curry had 41 points, but it wasn't enough to take down the James Harden-led Clippers, who completed an impressive fourth quarter comeback.

Speaking with reporters after the game, Curry was asked about his battles with Harden, Russell Westbrook, and Paul George, having come into the league at or around the same time as all three players.

"It’s always special," Curry said. "Me and James the same draft... Had a lot of battles back and forth over the years. Russ in there, PG, we’re all still trying to play at a high level… There’s a lot of mutual respect. There’s a lot of competition, too. Hate losing to them, I think they feel the same way."

I asked Steph Curry about still competing against James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and Paul George after so many years in the league.

Curry added that it's similar to the conversation that's been had about his battles with LeBron James and Kevin Durant, as there are still big time names in the league who have been playing at a high-level for more than a decade.

With a lot of mutual respect for who the Clippers have, Curry also hates losing to them. That's especially the case when Golden State has such a slim margin for error in the standings right now, as each loss hits even harder.
