The Memphis Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons face off yet again in a battle of two shorthanded and lower-seeded teams. Despite the standings, the last game between these two was incredibly fun.

The Grizzlies have 12 players listed on their injury report: Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., Santi Aldama, Brandon Clarke, Luke Kennard, John Konchar, Derrick Rose, Marcus Smart, Yuta Watanabe, Vince Williams Jr., and Ziaire Williams.

Ja Morant is out due to right shoulder labral repair, Desmond Bane is out due to a lumbar disc bulge, Jaren Jackson Jr. is out due to right quadriceps tendonitis, Santi Aldama is out due to right foot soreness, Luke Kennard is doubtful due to left knee soreness, John Konchar is out due to right plantar fasciitis, Derrick Rose is out due to right groin and lower back injury recovery, Marcus Smart is out due to a right ring finger central slip tear, Yuta Watanabe is out due to left patellar tendonitis, Vince Williams Jr. is out due to left patellar tendonitis, and Ziaire Williams is out due to a right lower back hip flexor strain.

The Detroit Pistons have seven players listed on their injury report: Cade Cunningham, Simone Fontecchio, Taj Gibson, Quentin Grimes, Isaiah Stewart, Ausar Thompson, and Stanley Umude. Cade Cunningham is out with left knee injury management, Simone Fontecchio is out due to a left great toe contusion, Taj Gibson is doubtful due to a right hamstring strain, Quentin Grimes is out due to a right knee contusion, Isaiah Stewart is out due to a right hamstring strain, Ausar Thompson is out due to an illness, and Stanley Umude is out due to a right ankle fracture.
