Memphis Grizzlies vs Dallas Mavericks Injury Report Revealed

The Dallas Mavericks may be very shorthanded against the Grizzlies.

The shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies face off against the Dallas Mavericks in a game that the Mavericks may also be incredibly shorthanded themselves.

The Memphis Grizzlies will continue to miss Steven Adams with a right knee PCL strain, Brandon Clarke with a left Achilles tear, Vince Williams Jr. with right shoulder soreness, and Ja Morant due to a suspension. Additionally, Ziaire Williams is out on a G League assignment. The newest addition to the injury report is the fact that Jaren Jackson Jr. is listed as questionable with left calf soreness.

The Dallas Mavericks have their best two key players listed as questionable, which can change the entire complexion of the game. Luka Doncic is out with a left thigh strain, Kyrie Irving is questionable with right foot soreness, and Markieff Morris is questionable with left knee soreness. Additionally, A.J. Lawson is out on a G League two-way. It's worth noting that Kyrie Irving played the last game against the Los Angeles Lakers for the Dallas Mavericks, and Luka Doncic missed that game. So, it would be a fair assumption to believe that Irving plays again tonight.

While this game has significance to both the Grizzlies and Mavericks, it should mean a lot more to the Mavericks. If the Memphis Grizzlies win this game, they'll find themselves in the second seed, and avoid the third seed. They'll likely not drop to the fourth seed at this rate, so it's a pretty safe spot for Memphis. For the Mavericks, a loss could put them in the play-in tournament, which is the ultimate thing that every team wants to avoid in the playoffs.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks tipoff at 8:00 pm ET tonight.
