Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke has been out since last season with an achilles injury. While there was a chance this injury could have kept Clarke out for all of this season, he seems to be making some very good progress on his recovery, and could be nearing a return.

Marc J. Spears of Andscape reported in December that Clarke could return around the All-Star break, writing, "Forward Brandon Clarke told Andscape that he expects to make his season debut around the NBA All-Star break after being sidelined due to an Achilles injury."

The All-Star break is now here, and while Clarke has not made his return to game action yet, the Grizzlies forward shared some very encouraging footage on Instagram:

Not only did Clarke look to be moving great in this video, but he also shared two hour glass emojis, presumably indicating that it's only a matter of time before he is back to game action.

While the season ending injury to Ja Morant closed the door on any playoff hopes for the Grizzlies, getting Clarke back into some game action will still be big for Memphis as they look to continue building continuity with their players who project to be around next season.

Clarke is under contract through 2027, and is a piece the Grizzlies are very high on.
