Former Grizzlies Player Trolls Team USA After Loss to Germany

In this story:
Team USA was eliminated from gold medal contention in the FIBA World Cup after their loss to Germany on Friday, and it became an "I told you so" moment for former NBA star Gilbert Arenas. Arenas, who was a two-time NBA All-Star before finishing his career with the Memphis Grizzlies, sent out this Tweet following Team USA's loss:

Quote Tweeting the video he posted after Team USA's first loss, Arenas trolled USA Basketball with a simple eye emoji that resurfaced his initial take on the roster they sent. The clip Arenas posted is from before the World Cup, when the former NBA star said the following:
"As a group, we could say this is probably what? F-list compared to what we have," Arenas said in the clip. "Compared to all the players in the NBA. When we're talking about [C-list], we're talking about Jimmy Butler, [Jaylen Brown]. That would be considered a C group... [Devin] Booker would be what, B? Zion Williamson, that's the B group. Ja Morant, that's the B group. So this is an F group, compared to what we have."
It turns out Arenas was right, as the roster Team USA sent to the World Cup was simply not good enough - especially in comparison to what they could have sent. It will be interesting to see how USA responds in the Olympics next summer.
