Grizzlies Legend Reacts to Jaren Jackson Jr.'s Disappointing World Cup

In this story:
Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. did not perform well for Team USA in the FIBA World Cup, but he was not alone. Team USA as a group underperformed this summer, and it led to a disappointing finish without a medal. Recently joining Kevin Garnett on Showtime Basketball's KG Certified, Grizzlies legend Tony Allen reacted to Jackson's struggles.
"It's going to be a good outgoing for him because he's been going through that," Allen said. "Like, 'Alright, I went through that. I got criticized. Now it's time to reevaluate myself and go put in work this year.' I think this year coming up, he's gonna get a chance to have more rebounds, be more defensive savvy, and just to respond to the critics. Yeah he didn't play well, the whole USA didn't play well. But I'm looking forward to big fella coming back this year, man. Understanding his body, understanding his game, understanding what I need to be doing as a big, how dominant I can be. For this, just wipe it under the rug, man."
Elite defenders like @KevinGarnett5KG and @aa000G9 aren’t worried about Jaren Jackson.

Garnett agreed with what Allen had to say, adding that Jackson is going to have a really good year because of the experience he got this summer. While neither Jackson nor Team USA as a group played the way they wanted to, it was great experience that should really help him this season.
