A viral video has been going around the internet the last few days that shows a surgical procedure that adds several inches of height. Memphis Grizzlies star Desmond Bane shared a hilarious reaction to the video, saying he needs that for his wingspan:

Bane is known for having short arms; however, that hasn't stopped him from being one of the NBA's elite snipers. Averaging 21.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 4.4 APG last season, Bane is an emerging star for the Grizzlies, and a solid backcourt partner to Ja Morant - who got a good laugh out of Bane's Tweet:

The emergence of Bane is one of the primary reasons why the Grizzlies feel they are still trending in the right direction, even after their disappointing first round exit to the Los Angeles Lakers. Still just 24 years old, Bane joins Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. as one the core Grizzlies players under 25, which gives Memphis a lot of optimism about their future.

This will be an important offseason for the Grizzlies, because while the group of Morant, Bane, and Jackson protect to be amongst the better trios in the Western Conference, there are clearly holes in the roster that need to be filled. That was evident in the first round against Los Angeles, and is something the team must address this summer.
