Lakers vs. Grizzlies Full Game 3 Injury Report

In this story:
Winning Game 2 without star point guard Ja Morant, the Memphis Grizzlies were able to secure a significant amount of momentum after dropping Game 1. When Morant was forced to watch the final minutes of Game 1 from the bench, and then was ultimately ruled out for Game 2, many felt as if the Grizzlies were trending towards an early exit. Able to secure a win without Morant in Game 2, Memphis has reignited a level of belief that they can take down this Lakers team, even if their star point guard cannot go.
Similar to Game 2, Morant is being listed as questionable for Game 3, and is expected to be a gametime decision. There is no real indication whether or not Morant’s hand has improved to the point of being ready to return; however, it once again seems likely that he will go through his warm-up routine and make a decision from there.
In addition to Morant’s questionable status, the Grizzlies remain without Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, and Jake LaRavia. For the Lakers, their Game 3 injury report looks the exact same way as it has all series, with LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Dennis Schroder all being listed as probable.
This has been an entertaining series so far, but the injury status of Ja Morant remains the biggest story. While the Grizzlies are confident in their ability to win without him, Memphis also knows that they need a healthy Morant to accomplish their ultimate goal of winning a championship. The team has done well to survive in his absence over the last two seasons, but they certainly want him back soon.
