While other brands have landed some of the biggest NBA stars, Nike still has the most dominant collection of basketball talent on their roster. Stars like Ja Morant, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Paul George, Devin Booker, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and several others are amongst Nike's most prolific athletes, and it seems many of them have made the trip to New York for the World Basketball Festival.
This is one of Morant's most notable public appearances since his 25-game suspension was handed out by the NBA. The Grizzlies star will not be able to play until that suspension is fulfilled, which was the result of his second gun video incident in as many months.
Looking to put those mistakes behind him, Morant has still been working hard on his game this summer, preparing as if he were starting on opening night. The Grizzlies will have their work cut out for them those first 25 games, but will have one of the league's premier players rejoining them for game 26.
