Damian Lillard Confirms Move To Milwaukee Bucks Instead Of Miami Heat

In this story:
Former Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard confirmed what Miami Heat fans thought wasn't true.
This season, Lillard will play for the Milwaukee Bucks after initially requesting a trade to the Miami Heat nearly months ago. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported a three-team deal that sends Lillard to the Bucks.
Lillard verified news via a social media post. He thanked the city of Portland while also saying he was looking forward to a new beginning in Milwaukee.
Here's what he wrote: "The casuals won’t be addressed but the trailblazers fans and city of Portland that I love truly will be … and they will be addressed truthfully. Stay tuned Excited for my next chapter! @Bucks

Excited for my next chapter! @Bucks 🎟️
Despite chasing Lillard all offseason, the Heat still return most of the team that lost to the Denver Nuggets in last season's NBA Finals. This likely means they retain guard Tyler Herro, who was considered the key piece in the Lillard trade.
