How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to the Loss Against the New York Knicks Wednesday Night

Hope continued to fade for Miami Heat fans after a third consecutive loss.

The Miami Heat lost their third game in a row Wednesday night against the New York Knicks. Fans are resorting back to the pessimistic state they had when the team was losing after the All-Star break.

“I’m so sick of watching this tired ass jack of all trades ass offense,” one fan said. “We don’t excel at one thing, we have zero offensive identity. Shit is so irritating. A coaching change might be in order soon.”

The Knicks were playing without Julius Randle in the second half after he exited with an ankle injury. Heat fans have seen their team underperform against opponents without their star players, and Wednesday night was no different.

“If you were to tell me that Randle had no impact when he was in the game and had to leave in the 1st half, I’d ask you how many points we lost by,” one user said.

Knicks fans wasted no time ripping the Heat, especially Jimmy Butler. Most fans are still upset about Butler mocking Randle in the last matchup. Butler certainly didn’t help his own case, ending the night with 12 points and the late-game turnover that sealed it for New York.

Miami’s scoring and 3-point shooting struggles continued. It was their third game with 100 points or less, and the team shot less than 18 percent from three-point range outside of Duncan Robinson and Gabe Vincent. The Heat have five games left in the regular season, and now trail the Brooklyn Nets (41-35) by 1.5 games in the Eastern Conference standings. They play the Dallas Mavericks (37-40) to kick off next month.
