How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to the Win Against the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday Night
Remember when the Miami Heat defeated the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1? Many viewed it as an upset victory that wouldn’t amount to anything going forward. Little did they know it was a sign of things to come.
And now, the Heat officially closed the series with an overtime victory against the championship favorites. Heat fans got petty, tweeting the receipts of those who doubted them.

Per usual, most of the praise was heaped onto Jimmy Butler, whose circus shot with less than two seconds left sent the game into overtime. This basket contributed to his 42 points, making him the first player in franchise history with consecutive 40-point playoff games. At this point, Heat Twitter is just a Butler Stan account.
If Michael Jordan and LeBron James had a basketball baby, it would be Jimmy Butler! He's got the killer instinct of MJ and the all-around game of LeBron. So, if you want to be a champion, you gotta channel your inner Butler and leave it all on the court!

playoff jimmy is actually the greatest player of all time🗣️💯

But unlike most wins, Butler's performance wasn’t the only one highlighted by the fanbase. Bam Adebayo had his first playoff triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Gabe Vincent added 22 points while Kevin Love had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Triple double, great minutes from Cody, Kevin, Gabe, Kyle, and Caleb… the cast stepped up

Bam Adebayo playing elite defense on Giannis while putting up a 20 point triple double won’t get talked about enough.

There were some fans that felt this game was officiated in favor of the Bucks to force another playoff game.
How bad are the reps? My son is yelling at them.

Giannis is getting any call he wants. Hard to win when the playing field is skewed that way.

Th victory seemed to wash away those bitter feelings throughout the night.
Even with history in Miami’s favor, some felt they needed to win this game to avoid extending the series and giving the Bucks a chance at redemption. The Heat did exactly that, punching their ticket to the conference semifinals against the New York Knicks. What was once thought to be a lost season is now evaluated as a potential run for the Finals.
