A game that felt way too close had some anticipating Miami losing this game, potentially en route to blowing their 3-1 series lead. In the end, the Knicks just couldn’t pull ahead, largely because of the inability to score outside of Jalen Brunson. His co-stars RJ Barrett and Julius Randle were a combined 4 of 24 from the field for 26 points. Most of their scoring came from free throws, as the two collectively had just nine points all game. Fans all over social media wasted no time scrutinizing Barrett and Randle.

No matter how much Heat fans criticized their team during the regular season, they certainly make sure nobody else does. All those predicting New York winning the series were mocked by Miami’s fanbase.

There was no love lost between the fanbase and referee Scott Foster. Miami lost 10 straight with him as an official before Friday night. The Knicks lived at the free throw line all fourth quarter with many questionable calls. New York didn’t have a field goal until late in the fourth quarter, acquiring most of their points in the quarter purely off trips to the line.

Now, the Heat either face the Boston Celtics or Philadelphia 76ers next round, both of which they played last season. If they get Philadelphia, it will be a rematch of last year’s semifinals. If they face Boston, it will be a chance at redemption after falling short of the Finals.
