"I was like, this is an interesting way to get ready for the game, but sometimes he just gotta get in his mindset and his mode, and sometimes that's to be calm and tranquil."

Jaquez and Butler have appeared in commercials together, with this story further confirming their connection. Despite the experience difference, the tandem has the same goal in mind, an NBA championship.
"I would say I got a lot of vets," Jaquez stated. "He's definitely one of them. I would say him, Josh Richardson, K-Love, Caleb Martin as well. Me being the only rookie on the team, a lot of guys have taken me under their wing."
