Miami Heat's Erik Spoelstra Updates Status Of Tyler Herro
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro has still yet to be cleared to play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets.
On Tuesday, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra addressed his status after practice.
“We’re taking it one day at a time," Spoelstra said. "I know that may sound like a cliché. He did practices with the group, and he’s gonna do a full contact practice after this. We’ll evaluate that, we’ll meet with the training staff later on today, and we’ll continue this process. He hasn’t been clears yet, so that’s where we are. But we’re encouraged by the work he’s been doing.”
Herro, who is the team's third-leading scorer, hasn't played since breaking his hand against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of the first round. The Heat will update his status sometime before Wednesday's tip-off in Miami.
