Mike Bibby Upset At `Let's Go Heat' Chants During Sacramento Kings' Loss To Miami

TV analyst Mike Bibby, who once played for the Sacramento Kings, was disappointing with the pro-Miami Heat crowd during Monday's game

Former NBA player Mike Bibby is considered among the greatest players in Sacramento Kings history.

He was a member of those teams that battled the Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant-led Los Angeles Lakers teams in the 1990s and early 2000s. So Bibby, a loyal supporter of the organization, was a bit upset when he heard "Let's Go Heat" chants in the arena during Monday's game between Miami and Sacramento.

Bibby now provides postgame commentary for NBC Sacramento.

"I wanna harp on this first," Bibby said at the beginning of the broadcast. "I don't like the "Let's Go Heat" chants that are going around in the arena. These guys are trying to make a push. The best fans in the NBA, our team can't be hearing that."

The chants broke out as the Heat were closing their victory. They won despite playing without Jimmy Butler, Nikola Jovic, Josh Richardson, Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier.

Bibby, who played one season in Miami in 2011 during the LeBron James years, did give the Heat credit for handling the adversity.

"The Miami Heat came in, stepped in guys that usually don't play, came in, played hard," Bibby said. "We didn't have the same energy that we had [Sunday] night and it showed."
