The Miami Heat once again lost out on the chance of acquiring Bradley Beal.
Beal, the Washington Wizards star guard, is reportedly expected to be traded to the Phoenix Suns. The news was reported by multiple media outlets, including The Athletic and ESPN.
The no-trade clause in Bradley Beal's contract ultimately allowed him to choose his next destination.

Beal picked the Suns over multiple other trade options, including Miami, Milwaukee and Sacramento, sources tell @ShamsCharania.

Beal chose the Suns over the Milwaukee Bucks and the Heat. The Heat were trying to add him because they needed another scorer to play alongside Jimmy Butler. Part of the reason the Heat failed in the playoffs was because they lacked support for Butler. Beal now makes the Suns a super team, with him joining Devin Booker and Kevin Durant in Phoenix.
The Heat can now turn their attention to chasing Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers or Kyrie Irving from the Dallas Mavericks. Still, the Heat will have an interesting offseason because of the possibilities during the summer.
