Do The Miami Heat Need Tyler Herro Back?

In this story:
When the Miami Heat were winning, it was easy to say they didn’t need Tyler Herro in the lineup. But after a blowout loss to the Denver Nuggets, some may be taking these words back. The Heat clearly need more, whether it be size or scoring.
Herro averaged 20.1 points in the regular season, leading the team in field goal attempts and 3-point percentage. Though his performances fluctuated at times, he was still the team’s third leading scorer and a solid offensive weapon. Miami may need that back Friday night if they hope to win the series.
Caleb Martin, Gabe Vincent, Max Strus and Duncan Robinson make solid contributions and should be recognized for their efforts. With that said, the inconsistency plagues the team at times, especially when shots are not falling from downtown. Vincent and Strus combined for just 10 points in Game 3, shooting 20 percent from the arc. Martin has been absent since the Finals began, averaging the lowest scoring (5.3) of any Heat player not named Cody Zeller.
Herro could provide a spark offensively and create opportunities for Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
But fans need to hold their breath, as he still has not been cleared to play.
