Eastern Conference Recaps, Apr. 4: Giannis Antetokounmpo Recorded Triple-Double In Milwaukee Bucks’ Win Over Washington Wizards

The Milwaukee Bucks are getting closer to locking in the NBA’s best record.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s triple-double helped the Bucks secure a 140-128 victory against the Washington Wizards. He finished with 28 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. Jrue Holiday recorded 26 points and 10 assists while Brook Lopez had 20 points.
Kendrick Nunn led the Wizards with a season-high 24 points off the bench and rookie Johnny Davis had 20.

OTHER NOTES:
-Joel Embiid’s MVP case is still growing. He recorded 52 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 103-101 victory against the Boston Celtics. It was the most points he scored since Nov. 13 when he had 59 against the Utah Jazz. James Harden finished with 20 points and 10 assists while P.J. Tucker had 11 points.
Derrick White led the Celtics with 26 points and Jayson Tatum had 19.

OTHER NOTES:
-The Cleveland Cavaliers grabbed a 117-113 victory against the Orlando Magic to claim their first 50-win season since 2017-18. Donovan Mitchell led them with 43 points and Darius Garland had 16 and 10 assists. Markelle Fultz scored 23 points for the Magic and rookie Paolo Banchero had 20 points and 10 rebounds.
NEXT MAGIC GAME AGAINST THE HEAT: Apr.9 at Miami
-With Trae Young sidelined with an illness, Bogdan Bogdanovic’s 26 points led the Atlanta Hawks to a 123-105 victory against the Chicago Bulls. Saddiq Bey had 18 points and Dejounte Murray recorded 17. Zach LaVine scored 26 points for the Bulls and DeMar DeRozan finished with 21.
-Pascal Siakam recorded 22 points and 14 rebounds to help the Toronto Raptors grab a 120-100 victory against the Charlotte Hornets. Fred VanVleet had 16 points and Chris Boucher led all reserves with 21.
Rookie Bryce McGowens had 20 points for the Hornets while Nick Richards recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds.
