Eastern Conference Recaps, April 26: New York Knicks Win First Playoff Series Since 2013 By Eliminating Cleveland Cavaliers

The New York Knicks are in the Eastern Conference semifinals for the first time in a decade.
Guards Jalen Brunson and R.J. Barrett led a balanced offense in a 106-95 victory Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Knicks won the series 3-1 while the young Cavs go home after a much improved showing from last season.
New York was ahead by double-digits for most of the second half before holding off a late Cleveland surge. Brunson and Barrett combined for 44 points but four other Knicks also scored in double-figures. Multiple contributors helped offset the loss of Julius Randle, who left the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury.
Guard Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs with 28 points.
The Knicks play either the Miami Heat or Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference semifinals. They last made this stage as the No. 2 seed in 2013 but were upset by the Indiana Pacers.
