Jaylen Brown led the Boston Celtics with 26 points but it was Jayson Tatum who secured the win. With three seconds left, Tatum hit a 3-pointer over De’Anthony Melton to give the Celtics a 110-107 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers.

“I dream about taking those shots,” said Tatum, who finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds. “The worst thing that can happen is you miss.”

Al Horford had 15 points and Derrick White led all reserves with 18. Joel Embiid led the 76ers with 41 points and 12 rebounds and James Harden had 21 points.

OTHER NOTES:

-The Indiana Pacers scored 70 points in the second half to help them to a 121-108 victory against the Orlando Magic. Myles Turner led the way with 24 points and rookie Bennedict Mathurin had 19 off the bench.

Franz Wagner led the Magic with 21 points and rookie Paolo Banchero had 19.

NEXT MAGIC GAME AGAINST THE HEAT: Mar. 11 in Orlando

-Pascal Siakam scored 29 points to give the Toronto Raptors a 95-91 victory against the Detroit Pistons. Gary Trent had 19 points and Scottie Barnes had 12.

After being sidelined 20 games with a hand injury, Marvin Bagley led the Pistons with a season-high 21 points and a career-high 18 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic had 11 points and Jaden Ivey and James Wiseman had 10.

NEXT PISTONS GAME AGAINST THE HEAT: Mar. 19 in Detroit

-Three New York Knicks players scored 20-plus points in a 128-106 victory against the New Orleans Pelicans. Julius Randle had 28 points, RJ Barrett had 25 and Jalen Brunson had 20. Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 19 points and Josh Richardson had 16.
