Eastern Conference Recaps, March 29: Giannis Antetokounmpo Records A Triple-Double In The Milwaukee Bucks’ Victory Against Indiana Pacers

After being sidelined a game due to a knee injury, Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded his fifth triple-double to help the Milwaukee Bucks secure a 149-136 victory against the Indiana Pacers. He had 38 points, 17 rebounds, and 12 assists while Jrue Holiday had a career-high 51 points. It was the most points he scored since Feb. 14.

“Obviously, I'm happy about it,” Holiday said. “It took me 14 years to get 50 points. It came in a game that we needed to win, so I couldn't be happier.”

Rookie Bennedict Mathurin led the Pacers with 29 points and Aaron Nesmith had 22.

OTHER NOTES:

-The Brooklyn Nets used Cameron Johnson’s 31 points to grab a 123-114 victory against the Houston Rockets. Mikal Bridges scored 27 and Spencer Dinwiddie had 20 points and 11 assists. Kevin Porter led the Rockets with 31 points while Alperen Sengun had 21 points and 12 rebounds.

-The Dallas Mavericks’ play-in hopes aren’t getting any better. After being sidelined a game due to a calf injury, Joel Embiid scored 25 points to help the Philadelphia 76ers take a 116-108 victory against the Mavericks. Tyrese Maxey had 22 and James Harden recorded 15 points and 12 assists upon his return from a four-game absence.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 24 points and 10 rebounds while Kyrie Irving had 23 points.

NEXT MAVERICKS GAME AGAINST THE HEAT: Apr. 1 at Miami

-Jalen Williams’ putback off a Josh Giddey miss gave the Oklahoma City Thunder a 107-106 victory against the Detroit Pistons. Williams finished with 27 points and Luguentz Dort had 20. Rookie Jaden Ivey led the Pistons with 24 points and James Wiseman had 14 points and 11 rebounds.
