Frank Vogel is apparently on the move again.

There are multiple reports he is set to become coach of the Phoenix Suns. Last year Vogel was fired after three seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers

This marks his third job since Vogel was considered the top competition for Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra in the Eastern Conference. They met three straight seasons from 2012-14 while Vogel was coaching the Indiana Pacers

Spoelstra won each matchup during the LeBron James years in Miami, with two of those victories coming in the conference finals. Vogel finally bested Spoelstra by leading the Lakers past the Heat in the 2020 Finals.

While Vogel has bounced around since their rivalry began, Spoelstra remains in the same seat. He has the Heat once again in title contention, trailing the Denver Nuggets 1-0 in the NBA Finals.
