The Miami Heat may face the Milwaukee Bucks without star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo Wednesday in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference first round series.

He did not practice Tuesday and is listed as doubtful on the injury report.

I think there has been a lot of progress and hopefully there's more in the next day or so," Bucks said Mike Budenholzer said.

Antetokounmpo sustained the back injury in the first half of Game 1. He was sent to the locker room after falling on his back in the first quarter. He briefly returned before the pain resumed, forcing him to sit the remainder.

"I mean, I think if I'm being honest, I think there is an optimism," Budenholzer said. "Time is a little bit on our side, but I think that equation will flip, so yeah, I would say we're optimistic."
