How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to Game 5 Loss Against the New York Knicks Wednesday Night

In this story:
The Miami Heat will have to wait another day to clinch their ticket to the conference finals after losing Game 5 to the New York Knicks. Most fans still believe the Heat will win the series but were disappointed they couldn’t close it out sooner than later.
man what are y’all doing we do not need this series to be this close

Miami kept the game close, looking like they would rally in the fourth quarter like Games 4 and 5 of the Milwaukee Bucks series. Unfortunately, the lackluster 3-point shooting was too much to overcome in the end. Miami shot 30.2 percent from downtown, and went 4 of 23 outside of Duncan Robinson and Max Strus.
Nobody on the plane until they can hit 5 threes in a row .

The Heat had five players in double figures but no one scored more than 20 points. They just weren’t able to match the offensive collection of Jalen Brunson, RJ Barrett and Julius Randle, who combined for 88 points on the night. It’s very rare for the fanbase to criticize Butler after a game, but I guess there’s a first time for everything. Butler went 5 of 12 from the field for just 19 points, in contrast to his usual superstar scoring performances.

However, even for all the pessimism, most fans are confident this was one bad game and the Heat will take care of business in Miami on Friday. The Heat have a 14-0 series franchise record when going up 3-1, while the Knicks are 0-14. The result was still relatively close, even in spite of Butler’s below average scoring performance and the Heat’s lackluster 3-point shooting.
The fact that the heat got within 2 while shooting like shit
