From All-Star Weekend Workouts In Miami To New Acquisitions, Milwaukee Bucks Begin Title Pursuit Against Heat

In this story:
The Boston Celtics were considered the top team in the Eastern Conference for most of the season.
Apparently, that has changed in the eyes of some because of the Milwaukee Bucks recent play and their trade deadline and buyout moves. The Bucks won 12 straight before the NBA All-Star break and moved up to No. 1 in the latest NBA.com power rankings. Even though superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to miss some time because of a wrist injury, Khris Middleton is nearing 100 percent after an injury sidelined him most of last postseason.
The Bucks also added to the lineup by trading for Jae Crowder and acquiring former Miami Heat center Meyers Leonard during the buyout. After sitting out all season while with the Phoenix Suns, Crowder is so serious about his return he trained with teammates Bobby Portis Jr. and Joe Ingles in Miami during All-Star weekend. Here are the details from Fan Nation Bucks writer Matthew Bugandzic.

The Bucks appear ready to regain the throne they lost to the Celtics last year in the second round. The Heat will have the first chance to see them Friday night in Milwaukee.
