The only blemish for New York Knicks forward Julius Randle is the performance came in defeat.

Other than the Knicks losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves Monday, Randle's effort was sparkling. He had 57 points, the third-highest total in franchise history.

“I’m such a results-driven person, I try to focus on the process a little bit more and taking the necessary steps to get better and build as a team,” Randle said after the loss. “So hopefully I will be able to. Tonight, probably not. I’m a little upset about the loss.”

And now he brings his high-scoring to face the Miami Heat in a critical Eastern Conference matchup. Randle is averaging 33 points against the Heat  this season.

He had 46 points in last month's win in Miami, hitting an off-balanced 3-pointer with time expiring. With a victory, the Heat could move into a tie for sixth place with the Brooklyn Nets. They play the Nets Saturday.
