Miami Heat Rival Jayson Tatum Shuts Down Idea of Joining Team

In this story:
Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum is a known rival of the Miami Heat.
He attended this weekend’s Hall of Fame ceremony in Springfield, Mass. During his red carpet walk, a fan decided to bicker with the All-Star.
A fan can be heard saying, "Come to the Heat, come to the Heat." Of course, Tatum responded, Nah," while shaking his head.
These two organizations have faced off in the Eastern Conference Finals three of the last four years. These series have once again turned these historic franchises into a rivalry. Miami has taken the upper hand, winning twice.
This competitive spirit goes back over a decade, to the Big Three Era. Where the Heat once again came out on top, defeating them in back-to-back Finals runs.
Tatum appears to be following in the footsteps of longtime Heat hater and Celtics legend Paul Pierce. Pierce is known for his outlandish claims as an analyst and podcaster, specifically relating to the Heat.
This summer, the Celtics acquired center Kristaps Porzingis to pair alongside Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Miami, meanwhile, has set its sights on trading for seven-time All-Star Damian Lillard.
These teams are set to face off on Oct. 27 in Miami. The likelihood of seeing a fourth postseason matchup next season couldn’t be higher.
