Miami Heat's Bam Adebayo Says Eastern Conference Is A Toss Up

In this story:
Last year the Miami Heat spent the majority of the season atop the Eastern Conference standings.
This season, they are fighting for their playoff lives after a slow start. Center Bam Adebayo, who is playing in his second NBA All-Star game, recently spoke about the rest of the league.
He said the Eastern Conference is wide open.
"I feel like the East is a toss-up," Adebayo said. "It's one of those things where I feel like in the East, whoever is hot at the time, I feel like that's who is going to rise."
The Heat were represented by guard Tyler Herro in the 3-point contest. Herro lost in the first round. Adebayo is playing in his second All-Star game since 2020. He is the Heat's lone representative.
The Heat are the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference at the break.
