The Miami Heat's guard rotation is a glaring issue on both ends of the floor, which could find its solution at the Feb. 8 trade deadline.

The Heat could look to acquire backcourt players such as Cleveland Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell or Charlotte Hornets' Terry Rozier. They would move on from veteran guard Kyle Lowry in these deals to assist in matching salaries.

NBA insider and ClutchPoints reporter Brett Siegel recently shared that the 37-year-old guard is available for trade.

"Kyle Lowry has been on the trade block for the Miami Heat dating back to last season. His production for the Heat has been minimal and Lowry is in the final year of his contract," Siegel wrote. "For any team looking to free up cap space in the offseason, Lowry could wind up being a great asset for them since he is making nearly $30 million. Donovan Mitchell, one of the Heat's top targets through the years, is not being made available by the Cavaliers, which is why the Heat may just wind up laying low at the deadline."

Lowry is averaging 8.7 points on 45 percent shooting in roughly 28 minutes of action. He is a liability on the defensive end, partly due to his small frame for an NBA guard. Mitchell and Rozier can provide an extra spark for a Miami team looking to win their first championship in more than a decade.
