Miami Heat's Tyler Herro Reacts To Dodging Another Period Of Trade Rumors

The Miami Heat missed out on acquiring Damian Lillard after months of pursuit.

These negotiations have been an emotional journey for fans, and likely even more stressful for Heat guard Tyler Herro.

Herro, who heard his name in constant trade packages, will remain with the team for now after months of hearing that he’d be traded.

Talk about awkward.

He isn't new to these talks, though. His name was in packages for players like Kevin Durant, Donovan Mitchell and Bradley Beal. He even acknowledged he will likely to be involved in future rumors as well.

He reposted an ESPN graphic talking about him dodging the trade, simply tweeting, “Until next summer.”

Herro likely has nothing to worry about, given the way Miami's superstar aspirations fell through the past years. Their goal of pairing Jimmy Butler with another top-tier player fell short on several occasions. Pat Riley's talks of "running it back" put the Heat in the same position every season.

It may be a little awkward but at least Herro can assure his spot…until the Heat are rumored to land someone like Joel Embiid or Giannis Antetokoumpo.
