The Miami Heat are hoping their backcourt struggles are solved with the acquisition of guard Terry Rozier.

Miami traded veteran Kyle Lowry and a first-round pick to acquire Rozier on Tuesday morning. The deal is thrilling for Heat fans, but they aren't the lone group with positive expectations for the 29-year-old on his new team.

On the latest addition of retired All-Star Gilbert Arenas' podcast, 'Gil's Arena,' he and his co-hosts dissected how the deal impacts the Heat.

"I think he'll do well. They need someone else who can put the ball in the basket, especially to carry them when Jimmy Butler is chilling. You know, you still got Herro," Arenas said. "You know, they're a defensive team, so the fact that they have a lot of offense now is going to be interesting. This is who Boston (expletive) up on when they got rid of him. Their missing piece this whole time was Scary Terry. Last year and the year before, a guard who can put the ball in the basket. So we'll see how this plays out."

Arenas did not mention center Bam Adebayo when acknowledging how Rozier impacts the Heat's offense in the absence of Butler. This comes as a surprise because Adebayo is averaging 21.5 points on 50.3 percent shooting.

Rozier's defense is not a concern because of the talent Adebayo, Butler, and Haywood Highsmith provide on the defensive end of the floor.
