The Miami Heat entered the Eastern Conference semifinals with hopes of slowing New York Knicks All-Star forward Julius Randle.

It may be now time to change the approach heading into tonight's Game 6.

Guard Jalen Brunson has been the Knicks' most consistent performer during the series while Randle has disappointed this postseason.

Brunson is averaging 26.5, 5.9 assists and five rebounds in the playoffs. He was a large factor in the Knicks avoiding elimination in Game 5, recording 38 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

“He has a great competitive will,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “So, he’s going to continue to attack, he’s going to try to manipulate the defense. He’s aggressive, he’s physical, but he also knows how to draw fouls. “He’s clever, so he has that combination. So be it, you have to respect him as a competitor and then find a way to get the job done.”
